Yeah, but I think the OP’s frustration is at the fact that she announced she was shutting down the day after he subbed. Once an OF creator decides they are going to shut down – ESPECIALLY if they aren’t going to keep uploading content until the day they close – they should be doing something to make sure no new followers can even subscribe to their page. There are a few horribly flaky creators on OF that will vanish for days, weeks – months – on end, but still leave their page open for subs, and pop back on intermittently with new posts like “hey guys, I’m back,” and maybe respond to a DM, but then vanish without following through. I think OF should terminate accounts like that and ban the creator from coming back unless they can provide a really good explanation.

A few months ago, when they had a different profile pic, I DM’d whoever it is behind it and asked them to DM me a picture of themselves with my instagram handle written on a piece of paper so I knew it was for real before I started sending paypal (they only wanted friends and family, which you can’t file a complaint against when they take your money and run) – they sent me a picture of a completely different person from who was in the profile pic. I laughed and called them, out – they blocked me.
